Viarosa was founded in 2002 by Singer-Songwriter Richard Neuberg and has since then grown into a well-known part of the British folk and alternative rock scene. In the last two years they have shared tours and shows in the UK and in Europe with artists like REM, Midlake and Leonard Cohen.
Their first album “Where The Killers Run” received rave reviews. The successor “Send for the Sea” was named an “eleven song noir opera”. Viarosas’ music has his unique style that mixes different sounds with voices that are one time sweet and soft and another time rough. They create dense carpets of sound accompanied by bitter-sweet lyrics that give the band their own brand of melancholy spleen.
