about

As a female vocalist, Daisy Chapman toured in Europe with her piano and loopstation and added her beautiful voice to create a sound that competes with the big names in music business. Her current record “The green eyed” is influenced by tango, folk and klezmer and again proves her quality as a solo artist. The passionate woman sings about life and people, about jealousy and grudge. Her clear voice is strong and ironic, but sometimes it’s soft and playful. In combination with her piano, her shows are always intense.

Daisy Chapman proved her stage qualities on several tours in the USA and Europe, not just as a solo artist, but also as a member of the Band “Crippled Black Phoenix” (www.myspace.com/crippledblackphoenix), a supergroup from England. In 2009, Daisy Chapman was decorated with the “Independent Music Award” for her Interpretation of the song “Umbrella”.
